The 8th and final round of the British MX championship series has seen CAS Honda star, Josh Coppins, dominate both motoÕs to take victory at the former GP circuit of Hawkstone Park in Shropshire.
The Dunlop Grand Prix of Germany ended in the way German fans were expecting. KTM German rider Bernd Hiemer won the overall S1 GP with an impressive win in the second moto on the narrow but technical track of Sankt Wendel.
"It's great to be back at the Nationals and it's great to be standing up here on this podium - It's been a long time. Coming out to America I expected to be up here right away, just the whole year has been tough and we are back here now and that's what counts. It's amazingly rough out there. I couldn't believe it when we went out in second practice. Those downhill's are huge..."
"I felt good in practice yesterday and today and it really helped in the motos," said Stewart, who registered his third AMA Motocross win of the year. "I was pretty close to (Carmichael) where I could see him when he went down. He caught an edge and just went right over. It was pretty bad. I hope he's alright."

Championship leaders of the two Supermoto classes got ready to leave their opponents behind tomorrow and increase their advantage in the standings. S1 leader and 3 times GP winner this year Bernd Hiemer clocked the fastest lap on the circuit in Sankt Wendel during the S1 qualifying practice.
