Motocross bikes in today's world have become much more than simple a machine with two wheels and an engine, they have become work's of art!

With this concept manufacturers began producing goodies such as colored rims, anodized hubs, sprockets, and even chains. However the obsession with having multi-colored 'different' bikes didn't end there. Soon companies rolled in colored axle blocks, oil filler plugs, and even brake cover caps. From there the madness didn't stop, companies such as Anderson Automatics brought it even to the next level offering custom lettering and numbers on the beautifully anodized parts that are stuck onto your bike.

This then left the industry to think, what's next? With some bikes' aluminum looking like colors of the rainbow, the metal department on bikes was well covered. From this conception CV4 produced the next vivid color product, colored radiator hoses. Produced by SFS Performance these colored radiator hoses gives the average rider a high step above your riding buddy (talk about keeping up with the Jones'). With colors ranging from black, blue, red, yellow, green, and orange you are sure to find the right color to make your bike just 'that bit more trick.'

Made from quality high temperature reinforced silicone rubber the hoses are thicker than stock hoses. Despite being thicker they are more flexible due to the material and quality over stock hoses. With that they are able to resist deterioration due to being thicker and made out of higher quality rubbers. Coming already pre-molded into the proper lengths and shapes, installation is easy. Simply unscrewing the existing hose clamps, carefully removing the stock hose and replacing it with the CV4 radiator hose. Total installation from start to finish takes around 30 minutes depending on make and model of your machine. After you are finished installing the hoses on your bike, stand back and take a good look.

What you will see is a bike where even parts like your radiator hoses stand out. While neither we nor CV4 has seen any performance gains or coolant temperature drops, the hoses are more puncture resistant compared to OEM hoses. In addition to being more puncture resistant the hoses have a higher max heat rating and are able to withstand temperatures up to 450F (232C). Overall the main purpose of these hoses is for simply the 'trick factor.' In this case the hoses definitely do their job well; we definitely received more eye-attention due to our colored cooling candy.

Overall this is definitely the part for anyone who wants something few have. It is meant simply for the purpose of turning heads and setting your hoses apart from the tens-of-thousands of 'black hosed bikes'. With that in mind one should draw the line on purchasing them if they do not have any other needed priorities. If you're running an old top-end, pushing your valves to their last hours, or running a supermoto-like tire on a MX track, fix those first.

However, if your bike's running strong and you would like yet another thing to accommodate your carbon fiber exhaust, anodized aluminum widgets, and titanium header, this is definitely the thing for you.
