IT'S OVER! USA TEAM IS VICTORIOUS AT MOTOCROSS OF NATIONS WITH STEWART LEADING THE CHARGE!

9/24/2006

The 2006 MXDN is over and Team USA has brought the victory home. The team of James Stewart, Ivan Tedesco and Ryan Villopoto have performed at the highest level and stood on top on the podium.

Belgian champion Stefan Everts proved unbeatable but even though he was the man of the day, Everts and his teamates Steve Ramon and Kevin Strijbos came up second for the day.

New Zealand came in second, narrowly beating Italy, with their team of Josh Coppins, Ben Townley and Cody Cooper.

Italian fast guy Antonio Cairoli had an incredible MX2 race and pulled out ahead of Tedesco to take the win, bringing the Italian team to fourth place.

We just got back in, so full race results are coming up. For now, enjoy some of these "fresh off the press" photos by our crew at the race.
